01Purpose & Editorial Principles
Qvorvm publishes informed, relevant and responsible commentary for an international professional audience. Our editorial standards are designed to support accuracy, independence, transparency, professional integrity and respect for intellectual property. Publication is discretionary and does not constitute endorsement of any particular legal position.
02Scope of Publications
These guidelines apply to Qvorvm Editorial, Member Publications, interviews, research, commentary, case studies, white papers, reports and other material submitted for publication or distributed through Qvorvm channels. Additional terms may apply to particular programmes or commissioned work.
03Qvorvm Editorial & Member Publications
Qvorvm Editorial comprises content selected, prepared or commissioned under the platform’s editorial direction. Member Publications are contributions attributed to participating professionals. Authorship, professional opinions and responsibility for factual claims must be clearly distinguished from the views of Qvorvm. Publication does not establish an employment, agency or legal advisory relationship.
04Contributor Eligibility & Attribution
Contributors must provide accurate professional details and identify all substantive authors. Ghostwriting, undisclosed material contributions, fabricated credentials and misleading attribution are not permitted. Editorial profiles and professional affiliations may be checked before publication.
05Originality & Plagiarism
Submissions must be original or properly licensed for the proposed use. Authors must cite sources, identify quotations and secure permissions for third-party material where required. Plagiarism, deceptive paraphrasing and unauthorised republication may lead to rejection or removal.
06Accuracy, Sources & Legal Developments
Authors must take reasonable steps to verify legal, regulatory and factual assertions, distinguish binding law from commentary, and state the relevant jurisdiction and date when material. Sources should be reliable and traceable. Authors should promptly notify the editorial team of material errors or developments that make published analysis misleading.
07Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based on relevance, quality, accuracy and suitability for the platform. Membership, commercial relationships or sponsorship do not guarantee publication, favourable treatment or a particular editorial conclusion. Qvorvm may edit, decline, defer or withdraw content in accordance with these guidelines.
08Conflicts of Interest & Disclosures
Contributors must disclose material financial, professional or other interests that could reasonably affect readers’ interpretation of the work, including relevant client, sponsor or commercial relationships. Sponsored or promotional material must be identified clearly and must not be presented as independent analysis.
09Confidentiality, Privilege & Client Information
Do not disclose confidential information, legally privileged material, personal data or details capable of identifying clients or matters without an appropriate legal basis and all necessary authorisations. Case studies should be anonymised where appropriate. Contributors remain responsible for their professional duties of confidentiality and privilege.
10Artificial Intelligence & Automated Content
AI-assisted drafting, research, translation or editing must be subject to meaningful human review. Authors remain accountable for accuracy, citations, originality, confidentiality and compliance with applicable professional obligations. Fabricated cases, authorities, quotations or references are prohibited. Material AI assistance should be disclosed where it is significant to the substance or provenance of the work, or when requested by the editorial team.
11Copyright & Intellectual Property
Authors must have the rights and permissions necessary to submit and authorise publication of their work. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, authors retain ownership of their original contributions while granting Qvorvm the non-exclusive permissions necessary to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, promote and archive the accepted material across its platform and associated channels. Qvorvm retains rights in its own branding, original editorial materials, design and platform elements. No transfer of ownership is implied by submission.
12Reproduction, Scraping & Unauthorised Use
Except where applicable law permits or the rights holder has granted permission, users must not copy, republish, commercially exploit, systematically extract or redistribute protected Qvorvm materials. Automated scraping, database harvesting and use of protected content for training AI systems without appropriate authorisation are prohibited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Requests for permissions may be sent to contact@qvorvm.com.
13Submission Requirements
Submissions should include a clear title, concise summary, substantive article text, author identification, relevant practice area and jurisdiction, supporting sources where appropriate, and any required disclosure. Images, charts and attachments must be supplied with sufficient rights information. Qvorvm may request revisions or further evidence before accepting a contribution.
14Review & Editorial Process
Submissions may undergo screening for relevance, originality, readability, legal accuracy, attribution, conflicts and compliance. Qvorvm may make copy edits for clarity, consistency, style, accessibility and search presentation. Substantive changes should be referred to the author where practicable. Acceptance and publication timing remain at editorial discretion.
15Professional Conduct & Prohibited Content
Content must not be defamatory, discriminatory, unlawfully misleading, deceptive, threatening or otherwise unlawful. Unsupported claims of expertise, guarantees of outcomes, improper solicitation and content that breaches applicable professional advertising rules are not accepted. Contributors must comply with the rules governing their own professional practice.
16Corrections, Updates & Retractions
Material errors should be reported promptly. Qvorvm may correct, annotate, update, restrict or retract published material as appropriate. Where an important correction affects the substance of an article, an editorial note may be added. The platform may retain reasonable records of editorial actions for accountability and legal compliance.
17Complaints & Rights Holder Requests
Requests concerning factual accuracy, copyright, privacy, attribution or other editorial concerns should identify the publication, explain the issue and provide supporting information. Contact contact@qvorvm.com. Qvorvm may seek additional details, consult the contributor and take proportionate action after review.
18International Legal Context
Qvorvm serves an international audience. Relevant UK legislation may include the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, the Defamation Act 2013, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, where applicable. International intellectual property instruments include the Berne Convention and the TRIPS Agreement. These references do not exclude mandatory laws or professional rules applicable in other jurisdictions.
19No Legal Advice or Professional Endorsement
Editorial material is provided for general information and professional discussion. It is not a substitute for advice tailored to a particular matter and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Opinions are those of the identified authors unless expressly stated otherwise. Readers should consult appropriately qualified advisers before acting.
